7 Day Tour of Ghana
This tour takes you to notable and historical sites of Ghana. Beginning from Ghana’s capital, Accra, we take you to Ghana’s highest point, Mountain Afadjato (885m) and to the following places:Wli Waterfalls, the highest waterfalls in West Africa; Cape Coast and Elmina Castles, notable for history of slave trade in Africa; Manhyia Palace Musuem, former palace of Ashanti Kings; Bonwire town, the home of Ghana’s traditional cloth, Kente; Mole National Park, Ghana largest wildlife refuge and most visited tourist site; and Larabanga Mosque, Ghana’s oldest Mosque.
Itenary
Day 1
Arrival and Airport Pick up. You will be given orientation about the entire tour. We set off to Wli village and spend the night there in a comfortable hotel.
Day 2
We hike to see the Wli waterfalls. Later we set off to Afadjato to climb Ghana’s tallest mountain. We travel to Accra and spend the night there in a comfortable hotel.
Day 3
We visit the Kwame Nkrumah Musuem and the Independence Square.Later we travel to Elmina and take a tour of the Elmina Castle. We spend the night in Elmina in a comfortable hotel.
We visit the cape coast castle. After that we travel to the Ashanti region to visit the town of Bonwire. We spend the night in Kumasi in a comfortable hotel.
Day 5
We travel to Mole National Park and do a driving safari to see the wildlife in the park. We spend the night at Mole Motel.
Day 6
We begin the days trip at Larabanga Mosque. From there we travel to Kumasi to visit the Manhyia Palace Musuem.
We drive through the streets of Kumasi to visit West Africa’s largest market. We travel to Accra afterwards. The tour comes to an end.
